BLOG POST 3: Reference Sheet
When deciding on a character for my animation, I wanted to go with something I know best. I decided to use an already existing character I have, with a little bit of a change to better fit the style I was hoping to animate with! Because this animation is more focused on the story and visuals, I'm not too worried about the character being super unique, so I'm okay with this design.
I had to make a character that I would model and rig for my 3D Animation class, so I had to draw her with no clothes as well. But thankfully, this helped me get a pretty good design on her body without the clothes and might give me a better chance at the anatomy.
Also, modeling her in 3D will also give me a tight grasp on poses, anatomy, and other useful things, which is why I chose to use the same character for both projects.
